Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The winter monsoon affecting southern China is moderating gradually.

At noon, Tropical Storm Sanba was centred about 800 kilometres southeast of Manila. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 25 kilometres per hour across the southern part of the Philippines.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Fine and dry. Moderate easterly winds, occasionally fresh offshore.

Outlook : Temperatures rising progressively in the next couple of days. The weather will be mild and humid with fog over the Lunar New Year holidays.
