Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A maritime airstream is affecting the coastal areas of Guangdong.

At noon, Tropical Depression Sanba was centred about 370 kilometres southeast of Nansha Dao. It is forecast to move west-northwest at about 12 kilometres per hour across the southern part of the South China Sea and weaken.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Warm with sunny periods in the afternoon. Mainly cloudy with coastal mist tonight. Light to moderate easterly winds.

Outlook : Mild and foggy with sunny periods on Lunar New Year's Day. Becoming cloudy and windier over the weekend.
