Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon is bringing rather cool weather to the south China coastal areas. Locally, temperatures over most parts of the territory in the afternoon were four to six degrees lower than those of yesterday.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly cloudy. A few rain patches at first. Rather cool tonight and tomorrow morning with a minimum temperature of about 13 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. The maximum temperature will be around 16 degrees. Moderate to fresh northeasterly winds, becoming easterlies later tomorrow.

Outlook : Temperatures will rise gradually during the weekend. It will be brighter early next week.
