Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A cold front moved across the coastal areas of Guangdong this morning. The associated northeast monsoon brought rather cool weather to the region. Locally, it was cloudy to overcast with a few rain patches. The weather was significantly cooler during the day. Temperatures over most parts of the territory were four to six degrees lower than those of yesterday. The northeast monsoon will continue to bring rather cool weather to the coastal areas of Guangdong tomorrow. As the monsoon moderates during the weekend, temperatures over the south China coast will rise gradually.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Friday, 23 Feb 2018)

Mainly cloudy. A few rain patches at first. Rather cool in the morning with a minimum temperature of about 13 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. The maximum temperature will be around 16 degrees. Moderate to fresh north to northeasterly winds, becoming easterlies later.

Outlook : Temperatures will rise gradually during the weekend. It will be brighter early next week.
