Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A strong northeast monsoon is affecting southern China. Locally, it was cool this morning. Temperatures fell to about 16 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories.

Weather forecast for today

Cloudy. Cool with one or two light rain patches in the morning. Very dry with bright periods in the afternoon. The maximum temperature will be around 20 degrees. Fresh to strong northerly winds, occasionally gale on high ground. Winds will moderate later.

Outlook : Fine and very dry with cool morning tomorrow. Temperatures will rise gradually in the following couple of days.
