Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A southerly airstream is bringing hot weather to Guangdong. Locally, temperatures over the territory rose to around 30 degrees in the afternoon. The maximum temperature recorded at the Observatory was 30.6 degrees, the highest so far this year.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly cloudy tonight. Coastal mist tomorrow morning with a minimum temperature of about 25 degrees. Hot with sunny periods during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 30 degrees. There will be a few showers tomorrow night. Moderate southerly winds.

Outlook : Cooler with showers and a few thunderstorms in the following couple of days.
