Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A southerly airstream affected the coast of Guangdong yesterday. Locally, it was mainly fine and hot. Temperatures over the territory rose to around 30 degrees in the afternoon. The maximum temperature recorded at the Observatory was 30.6 degrees, the highest so far this year. The southerly airstream will continue to bring hot weather to Guangdong today. A cold front will move across the south China coast on Sunday morning. It will be cooler with showers over the region.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Saturday, 14 Apr 2018)

Mainly cloudy. Coastal mist in the morning with a minimum temperature of about 25 degrees. Hot with sunny periods during the day. The maximum temperature will be around 30 degrees. There will be a few showers at night. Moderate southerly winds.

Outlook : Cooler with showers and a few thunderstorms in the following couple of days.
