Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A southerly airstream affected the south China coastal areas yesterday. Locally, there were sunny periods. The weather was hot during the day. Besides, a cold front moved across Guangdong yesterday. The associated thundery showers affected the region. The northeast monsoon is expected to bring cooler weather to southern China in the next couple of days. Meanwhile, an upper-air disturbance will bring thundery showers to the region.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong

Cloudy with a few showers. There will be isolated thunderstorms at first. Temperatures will range between 20 and 26 degrees. Moderate north to northeasterly winds, fresh at times.

Outlook : Cooler with showers and a few thunderstorms in the following couple of days. It will be brighter midweek next week.
