At 11 a.m. at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 19 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 89 per cent.
During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 0.1. The intensity of UV radiation was low.

Widespread heavy rain may affect Hong Kong shortly. Members of the public should be on the alert.


Gusts reaching 70 kilometres per hour or above may continue to affect Hong Kong.

A band of thundery showers associated with an upper-air disturbance is affecting the coast of Guangdong. Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon is bringing cooler weather to the region.

Cloudy with occasional rain and squally thunderstorms. Rain will be heavier at times at first. Moderate northerly winds, fresh at times.

Outlook : Cooler with showers and a few thunderstorms in the next couple of days. It will be brighter midweek this week.
