A band of thundery showers associated with an upper-air disturbance is affecting the coast of eastern Guangdong. Locally, more than 10 millimetres of rainfall were generally recorded over the territory this morning. Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon is bringing cooler weather to Guangdong.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Cloudy with a few showers. Moderate to fresh northeasterly winds, occasionally strong offshore at first.

Outlook : Still showery with a few thunderstorms tomorrow. It will be brighter midweek this week.
