Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A southerly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong. Locally, the weather was hot and temperatures over parts of the territory rose to around 30 degrees around noon. Beside, a trough of low pressure is bringing showers to the northern part of southern China.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Hot with sunny periods at first. One or two showers later this afternoon and tonight. Light to moderate southerly winds.

Outlook : Some showers tomorrow and a few thunderstorms in the morning. Mainly cloudy in the following couple of days.

    Weather Situation:
    A southerly airstream is affecting the south China coastal waters. Besides, the trough of low pressure now over the northern part of southern China will move towards the coastal waters.

    South force 4, becoming north force 4 to 5 later.
    Fog patches. Isolated showers and thunderstorms later.
