Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A trough of low pressure over inland Guangdong moved across the coast of Guangdong today, and brought showers and thunderstorms to the region. Locally, it was cloudy with showers and a few thunderstorms. More than 5 millimetres of rainfall were recorded in many places, and rainfall even exceeded 20 millimetres over Hong Kong Island, Tuen Mun and Lantau Island. A band of clouds will cover the south China coast in the next couple of days.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong (Wednesday, 25 Apr 2018)

Mainly cloudy. One or two showers at first. Temperatures will range between 22 and 26 degrees. Moderate northerly winds, becoming easterlies later.

Outlook : Mainly cloudy in the following couple of days. The weather will improve gradually over the weekend and early next week.
