Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A continental airstream is bringing generally fine weather to the coastal areas of Guangdong.

At 10 a.m., Severe Tropical Storm Maliksi was centred about 540 kilometres south of Tokyo. It is forecast to move northeast at about 55 kilometres per hour across the seas south of Japan.

Weather forecast for today

Mainly fine. Very hot and dry with some haze during the day. Light to moderate northerly winds.

Outlook : Showers and squally thunderstorms in the next few days.
