A trough of low pressure is bringing showers and thunderstorms to the coast of Guangdong. Locally, more than 5 millimetres of rainfall were recorded over parts of the territory this morning.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Mainly cloudy with showers and a few thunderstorms. Light to moderate easterly winds, becoming southwesterlies later.

Outlook : There will be showers and squally thunderstorms tomorrow. Showers will be heavy at times. Still showery in the following couple of days.
