At 11 a.m. at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 30 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 64 per cent.
During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 7. The intensity of UV radiation was high.

The area of low pressure over the northern part of the South China Sea will slowly edge closer to the coast of Guangdong today and tomorrow. Showers associated with the area of low pressure will affect the coast of Guangdong gradually. Members of the public should be aware of the latest weather conditions when arranging activities.

A fresh to strong easterly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong. Meanwhile, a broad area of low pressure is bringing unsettled weather to the northern and central parts of the South China Sea.

Mainly fine at first. Becoming cloudy with a few showers. Moderate to fresh east to northeasterly winds, occasionally strong offshore.

Outlook : There will be occasional showers tomorrow. Hot with sunny periods in the middle and latter parts of this week.
