A southwesterly airstream is bringing showers to the northern part of the South China Sea. The area of low pressure affecting eastern Guangdong and the northeastern part of the South China Sea is moving towards the vicinity of Taiwan Strait gradually.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Sunny periods in the afternoon. Mainly cloudy tonight. There will be one or two isolated showers. Moderate west to southwesterly winds, occasionally fresh offshore.

Outlook : Hot with sunny periods and a few showers in the next few days.
