At 11 a.m. at the Hong Kong Observatory the air temperature was 29 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity 82 per cent.
During the past hour the mean UV Index recorded at King's Park was 2. The intensity of UV radiation was low.

Gusts reaching 90 kilometres per hour or above may continue to affect Hong Kong.

The Amber Rainstorm Warning Signal has been issued.
The Thunderstorm Warning has been issued. It will remain effective until 1:00 p.m. today. A few squally thunderstorms are expected to occur over Hong Kong.

The southwest monsoon is bringing heavy showers and thunderstorms to the coastal areas of Guangdong.

Weather forecast for today

Mainly cloudy with showers and a few squally thunderstorms. Showers will be heavy at times at first. Moderate south to southwesterly winds.

Outlook : Still a few showers tomorrow. Showers will ease off and it will become fine in the following couple of days.
