Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

A southerly airstream is bringing showers to the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Locally, a few millimetres of rainfall were recorded at many places over the territory this morning, and rainfall even exceeded 10 millimetres over the eastern part of the New Territories.

Weather forecast for today

Mainly cloudy with occasional showers and a few thunderstorms. Sunny intervals during the day with a maximum temperature of around 30 degrees. Moderate south to southeasterly winds.

Outlook : Showers will ease off in the next couple of days. Fine and very hot in the middle and latter parts of this week.
