Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The weather is generally fine over southeastern China.

At 5 a.m., the tropical depression over the seas east of the Philippines was centred about 720 kilometres south-southeast of Okinawa. It is forecast to move northwest at about 10 kilometres per hour towards the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands and intensify gradually.

Weather forecast for today

Mainly fine apart from isolated showers. Very hot during the day with a maximum temperature of around 33 degrees. Moderate southwesterly winds.

Outlook : Very hot with sunny periods tomorrow. A few showers early next week.
