Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The weather is generally fine over Guangdong areas.

At 5 a.m., Tropical Storm Prapiroon was centred about 680 kilometres south-southeast of Okinawa. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 10 kilometres per hour towards the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands and intensify gradually.

Weather forecast for today

Very hot with sunny periods. The maximum temperature will be around 33 degrees. Isolated showers. Moderate southwesterly winds, occasionally fresh offshore.

Outlook : A few showers in the next few days.

Weather Situation:
A southwesterly airstream is affecting the south China coastal waters.

At 5 a.m., Tropical Storm Prapiroon with maximum sustained winds of about 75 kilometres per hour near its centre was located near 20.3 degrees north, 129.5 degrees east. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 10 kilometres per hour towards the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands and intensify gradually.
