Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The weather is mainly fine over the coast of Guangdong. Meanwhile, showers are affecting the inland areas of Guangdong.

At 4 p.m., Tropical Storm Prapiroon was centred about 580 kilometres south-southeast of Okinawa. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 15 kilometres per hour towards the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands and intensify gradually.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly cloudy with one or two showers. The minimum temperature will be about 28 degrees. Very hot with sunny periods during the day tomorrow. The maximum temperature will be about 33 degrees. Moderate southwesterly winds, fresh at times.

Outlook : A few showers in the following few days.

A southwesterly airstream is affecting the south China coastal waters.

At 4 p.m., Tropical Storm Prapiroon with maximum sustained winds of about 85 kilometres per hour near its centre was located near 21.2 degrees north, 129.3 degrees east. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 15 kilometres per hour towards the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands and intensify gradually.
