Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The southwest monsoon is affecting the coast of Guangdong.

Typhoon Prapiroon has weakened into a severe tropical storm. At 4 p.m., Prapiroon was centred about 170 kilometres south of Busan. It is forecast to move north-northeast at about 25 kilometres per hour towards the Sea of Japan.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Mainly cloudy with a few showers. There will be isolated thunderstorms at first tomorrow. Sunny intervals in the afternoon. Temperatures will range between 27 and 32 degrees. Moderate south to southwesterly winds, fresh at times.

Outlook : Showers will ease off in the following couple of days and the weather will be hot with sunny periods.
