A southerly airstream is bringing hot and showery weather to the coast of Guangdong. Locally, more than 20 millimetres of rainfall were recorded over Shatin, Sai Kung, and parts of Hong Kong Island this morning.

Weather forecast for this afternoon and tonight

Mainly cloudy with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms. Sunny intervals in the afternoon. Moderate south to southeasterly winds.

Outlook : Sunny intervals and a few showers tomorrow. More showers in the following couple of days.
