A strong easterly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong. A broad trough of low pressure is bringing showers to the region. Besides, the area of low pressure over the seas east of the Philippines is intensifying. A tropical cyclone appears to be forming.

Weather forecast for today

Mainly cloudy. There will be occasional showers at first. Sunny intervals during the day with a maximum temperature of about 30 degrees. Moderate to fresh easterly winds, strong offshore and on high ground at first.
