Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.

The northeast monsoon is bringing fine and very dry weather to southern China. Locally, the relative humidity over most parts of the territory stayed around 30 per cent in the afternoon.

At 4 p.m., Typhoon Kong-rey was centred about 370 kilometres south of Jeju. It is forecast to move north at about 30 kilometres per hour across the East China Sea towards the vicinity of the southern part of the Korean Peninsula.

Weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow

Fine and very dry. The minimum temperature tomorrow will be about 23 degrees in the urban areas, and several degrees lower in the New Territories. The maximum temperature will be around 31 degrees. Moderate northerly winds, becoming light winds later tomorrow.

Outlook : Sunny periods in the following couple of days. Slightly cooler over the middle and latter parts of next week.

    The northeast monsoon is affecting the south China coastal waters.

    At 4 p.m., Typhoon Kong-rey with maximum sustained winds of about 120 kilometres per hour near its centre was located at 30.2 degrees north, 125.9 degrees east. It is forecast to move north at about 30 kilometres per hour across the East China Sea towards the vicinity of the southern part of the Korean Peninsula.
